TWO MONTHS I’ve been playing this damn game, literally saw ZERO Pikachus the first month, had ONE run away after a berry was given and a Great Ball was broken out of, and the fucker ran....

But the other day..... the other day while driving (my kids were watching the screen) a little yellow fucker showed up.

I immediately pulled into a parking lot and fed him a berry and got out my last Ultra Ball and caught him. Only 170cp but hey, beggars can’t be choosers, right?

I spent the next few days walking him around, gathering candies, catching every little thing for extra stardust, because my intent was to power him up to the highest level possible. Got him to 220ish until THIS ASSMONGER POPPED UP OUTSIDE WORK ON MY LUNCH BREAK.

421. Not bad. Good thing I wasted all that stardust and candy on the other one.

They’re easy because with the buddy system it’s 1k per candy. but a Charamander is 3k per candy. I just want a Charizard. BUt that’s 300k.

I was on a Gengar grind until I found him. Ghastly candy is 3k per as well.

I liked how big Hauter was in the buddy screen though

Lucky. I never see anything cool. It’d probably piss me off if I did though since I have bad luck catching high CP stuff. I swear my screen protector doesn’t let me throw balls far enough.

I have a friend who had over 440 magikarp candies. She was saving a ton of candies for all sorts of monsters for evolving with a lucky egg.

I gave up on Pokemon GO a month ago. I leveled up to 22 and just never went back. So much for my 100k candies and 1700 CP Exeggutor I caught two weeks before I quit

Since it costs me nothing to play, and my kids like it, I stick with it. Plus it gets us out of the house..... until it starts getting colder out. Not sure if anyone’s gonna want to go walk around in winter.

Unless there’s some mega super cool update, I don’t see it being popular much longer, not that it really is anymore anyways.

Been playing since launch as well, and still haven’t seen Pikachu once. I’m only level 15 though so maybe its more likely to see one at a higher level.

My school was a Pikachu nest until a few weeks ago. Now it’s an Eevee nest (I catch 2-3 every day). At least I managed to make a Raichu before they stopped spawning.

I’ve seen a few Pikachu. A few weeks ago I traded the only one I was keeping, since it was 240 cp and I’m nowhere near evolving, and there was literally no reason in the game for me to keep it.

Next week they release the buddy system. If I’d kept that Pikachu I’d literally have a Raichu by now, one of the few Pokemon left that I need.
